HON. JOYCE FAHEY (RET.)
With more than 35 years of conflict resolution experience as a judge, businesswoman, elected official and federal prosecutor, Hon. Joyce Fahey (Ret.) continues her career as a full-time neutral, dedicated to providing dispute resolution services in a variety of legal matters.
Judge Fahey has served as a mediator, arbitrator, hearing examiner, receiver and discovery referee in a wide variety of business and civil disputes. Her practice areas include litigation involving complex business and partnership disputes, employment and wage & hour, real estate transactions, medical malpractice and personal injury claims.
Judge Fahey served as a neutral at Alternative Resolution Centers (ARC) for 12 years and, prior to her work there, served as a settlement judge for the Los Angeles Superior Court, Retired Judges Panel. Judge Fahey also served as Executive Advisor to E&B National Resources for three years, providing her expertise in oil, gas and energy matters. As a two-term Mayor and Council Member in Manhattan Beach, she developed an expertise in disputes involving municipalities, including tax, franchise and commercial development issues, as well as resident disputes.
